Montreal, here we come: “Graphic Details” to be spotlighted at 2010 NeMLA convention

This just in:  We’ve been invited to present a capsule version of Graphic Details at the 2010 convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association, the prestigious scholarly organization for professionals in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and other modern languages.

The convention takes place April 7-11 in Montreal.  You can see the full schedule here.

Trina Robbins, underground comics pioneer, joins Graphic Details!

One of the pioneers of underground comics will exhibit rare autobiographical work in Graphic Details, we’re very excited to announce.

Trina Robbins has been called “the very first female underground comic artist”.

She’s also a “herstorian” and prolific author whose works include Great Women Cartoonists, From Girls to Grrrlz:  A History of Women’s Comics from Teens to Zines, and, most recently, The Brinkley Girls.
